On the occasion of Kumrovec Municipality Day, on November 24, 2021, the Museum "Staro selo" Kumrovec opened an exhibition by author Stjepan Sučić, dedicated to the 200th anniversary of the birth of Vatroslav Lisinski, the founder of modern Croatian opera, solo song, orchestral music, author of the first two Croatian operas "Love and malice" and "Porin" and Sidonija Rubido Erdödy, the first Croatian opera prima donna. The organizers of the exhibition are the Municipality of Kumrovec, the Museum "Staro selo" Kumrovec, the Klanjec Branch of Matica Hrvatska and the Kumrovec Municipality Development Initiative. Ivica Kontent, baritin, member of the HNK Opera, performed the selected compositions in the music program.

At the opening of the exhibition, the mayor of Kumrovec Municipality, Robert Šplajt, the representative of the prefect of Krapina Zagorje County, Maja Vukina Bogović, the representative of the Matica Hrvatska Branch, Kanjec Nikola Filko, addressed the audience, and the exhibition was opened by the director of the Museum of Croatian Zagorje, Jurica Sabol.

The exhibition will be open until February 15, 2022.
